Abstract
A new series of heterocyclic tellurium dialkoxides (CnH2nTe (OR)2: n = 4, 5, R = CH1CH2CH1, CH2CH2CH, and n-But.) have been prepared by the reaction of sodium alkoxides with the corresponding cyclic tellurium diiodide. These compounds were characterized on the basis of their IR, 1H NMR and Mass spectral data. Conductivity measurements in DMSO and DMF have shown a considerable ionic behaviour
